Parachurch Volunteer Needs:

148 Ministries:

Small Group Leaders

Angelcare:

We need volunteers to help run our girls to and from appointments

Clarity:

I am praying for a sonographer. I would love the ability to have more than 1 day to offer ultrasounds at Greenwood.

Or a nurse to be able to have STI testing and ultrasounds

Interchurch Food Pantry:

The Food Pantry is always looking for volunteers: M-F 11:00am-3:00pm; Saturdays 8:30am-11:00am

Joshua Center:

Every Wednesday from 9:30-11:30 we have various opportunities for "Hope Helpers" (volunteers), project assembly, administrative work, cleaning, etc.

We are working on gathering volunteers for our Family Grief and Bereavement Retreats – Pilot Program. If anyone would like more information they can email Dalia at, dalia@joshuacenter.org

Nighlight Christian Adoptions:

It would be very helpful to have volunteers assist our agency with obtaining silent auction items and helping share information about our upcoming fundraiser.

We are in the process of making all of our files digital - with this, we have many filing cabinets that need disposed of. At this time, there are 5-10 cabinets. Some are in great conditions while others have broken locks. We are in need of people to remove and dispose of the filing cabinets. We estimate we have around 20 in total, but only 5-10 are ready for removal now.

One Mission Society:

One Mission Society is excited to be hosting a Perspectives on the World Christian Movement class this August at our headquarters in Greenwood. Around 30 students from across the country will be participating, and we’d love to invite local churches to partner with us by providing supper for the class.

We’re looking for help with suppers on the following dates: August 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 7th. Suppers can be simple—think sandwiches, crockpot dishes, salads, cookies, etc.—enough to serve about 30 people.

If your church would be willing to help, please contact Joshua Beebe at 319-334-0600 for more details or to sign up. Thank you for considering how you can support this impactful missions training opportunity!

Perry Township Religious Education Association:

We need five new teachers for the next year!

Resources of Hope:

We could really use 1-2 adults to help with childcare one or two times a month during our foster parent training/support groups. 9-11am on Saturday mornings, dates vary month to month.

The Refuge:

Coaches for our pantry times

For our events

Walnut Ridge Retreat Center:
